Telephone Booth

Andrew OD Booth is a respiratory specialist nurse working in the NHS. He's also a petrol head and spends far too much time searching classified ads for old cars he can't afford, rather than taking his two retired racing Greyhounds for walkies. His oldest car was a souped-up 1958 Morris Minor, in which he took his honeymoon, drove round the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, and very nearly delivered his daughter - but not all on the same day. His most unreliable car was a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo, which was traded in for a Nissan Micra. He has been the longest-serving (now retired) award-winning editor of the Morris Minor Owners Club magazine, writes (not as often as he should) for the TVR Car Club, and is a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. No longer is he able to have a bad hair day, Andrew strives never to have a bad car day. He is married to a community nurse, is the chief chauffeur to his daughter, and is owned by a fat cat.

He lives in 1962.
